| Host for the WMC in golf 2011 needed! |

Golf was introduced in CISM in 2003 and since then there have been a WMC organized every year except for 2004. Including this year's WMC there have been two championships organized in every continent: America; 2003 and 2008, Africa; 2007 and 2009, Asia; 2005 and 2010. Only Europe has organized only one championship; Ireland 2006. The major participating nations during the mentioned championships have been from Europe.
